If you are considering moving to the Sand Springs area, I would like to talk about the access I have found throughout the Greater Tulsa Area.

I live just west of Sand Springs/Prattville area and work in Sand Springs/Prattville. One of the things I enjoy about this area is the convenience of access to many popular areas in Greater Tulsa without the "busyness" of living in the city. For example, from Sand Springs you can take Hwy 412 to access Downtown Tulsa area in less than 20 minutes. This places us close to locations such as the BOK Center, Driller Stadium, Tulsa County Offices and Courthouse. Also nearby is the Legendary Cain's Ballroom, and Downtown Tulsa entertainment district. Hwy 412 also connects us to I-244 with access to Tulsa International Airport, American Airlines, Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology. Or, out to Catoosa, OK area and Hard Rock Casino.

Accessing Midtown Tulsa District is 15 min away using routes such as Avery Dr. along the Arkansas River. Midtown allows us to easily access Cherry Street District, Brookside District with restaurants such as Bricktown Brewery, Brookside Diner, Mondo's Ristorante Italian, Charleston's Restaurant, Coney ILander and more. You also have access to The University of Tulsa as well as the multiple Tulsa Community College campuses around the area.

We are also 20-30 minutes from South Tulsa or West Tulsa using 41st St or 51st St to Hwy 75 and Creek Turnpike. These access points take us to events at the ORU Mabee Center at Oral Roberts University. Medical care at centers like St. Francis Hospital, St. John's Hospital, St. Francis South, or Southcrest Hospital which is an extension of Hillcrest Medical Center. We are also minutes away from River Parks, the Gathering Place, Turkey Mountain, LaFortune Park and more. Take a drive down Riverside Dr. to the Riverspirit Casino or maybe Hwy 75 to Jenks, OK and the Oklahoma Aquarium or the unique Downtown Jenks Shopping. This area also offers the Riverwalk featuring eateries such as Los Cabos Mexican Restaurant or Marble Slab Creamery.

All these access points from Sand Springs reach household shopping, warehouse stores or DIY locations such as Costco, Sam's Club, Lowe's, Home Depot. Or into Tulsa Hills Shopping for Dick's Sporting Goods, Marshall's, Target and more. Only minutes down 71st St to Woodland Hills Mall and JC Penney's or the new Scheels Sporting Goods.

But don't forget that right here in Sand Springs/Prattville area we have Atwoods, Tractor Supply Co. Reasor's, Walmart, Harbor Freight. And just off Hwy 412 we have Sand Springs Village Shopping Center with Yellow House Boutique, Cato, Leslie's Pool Supply, Sally Beauty Supply, Rent-A-Center, Samual's Jewelry, Aldi, Dollar General just to name a few.

I have found the Sand Springs/Prattville area to be an amazing and friendly place to live. Away from the Hustle and Bustle of the City of Tulsa, yet minutes away from anything this area has to offer.
